Live on Purpose
Rooted in Proverbs 19:21 (ESV) — While human plans come and go, God's eternal purpose stands forever. Gospel Light Apostolic Church centers its ministry identity on the motto: “Live on Purpose.”
This Year Our Focus Is On: Gather • Grow • Give • Go
This year, our church body is intentionally walking out these four intentional actions of spiritual discipline and kingdom purpose:
Gather
Engaging in corporate worship, scripture reading, and corporate prayer as one unified body of Christ.
Grow
Building theological depth, clear-headed discernment, and spiritual maturity through faithful exposition of the Word.
Give
Practicing faithful stewardship of time, talent, and resources under the principle that everything belongs to God and believers are blessed to be a blessing.
Go
Living with urgency, proclaiming the gospel, and calling people to active surrender to Jesus Christ.
Key Faith Convictions & Ministry Philosophy
The Biblical foundation that guides our preaching, life, and community.
1. Biblical Authority & Testing ("Show Me the Text")
The measure of any message or teaching is whether it survives the Biblical text. Discernment is valued over easy certainty, emphasizing that believers must examine Scripture for themselves rather than relying uncritically on human authority.
2. Purposeful Living & Readiness ("Occupy Till I Come")
Believers are put on Earth to fulfill God's pleasure and expand His kingdom influence through active stewardship—not merely to occupy space. Eschatology is taught to shape how believers live vigilant, productive lives in the present rather than living in fear.
3. The Unshakable Kingdom
Hope and loyalty are staked exclusively on Christ and His eternal Kingdom rather than political parties, secular culture, or national identity.
4. The Sufficiency of the Gospel
Complete faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross ("Tetelestai" / "It is finished"). Christ's sacrifice alone is all-sufficient for salvation and eternal righteousness.
